Each location will have just 8 available spots, so these sessions are limited and always sell out.
Cost: $250 includes:
β’ Approximately 20 minutes of photography
β’ 10 professionally retouched high-resolution digital images chosen by you from all of the photos posted from your session.
β’ An outdoor fall setting
β’ A variety of quick family groupings and poses
WHY A MINI SESSION?
Sometimes you don't need β or want β a full family portrait session. You just want some great, updated photographs of the people you love without spending an hour trying to keep everyone smiling and engaged.
Thatβs exactly what these sessions are designed for.
In about 20 minutes, we can capture a nice variety of images, including the whole family together, parents with the kids, siblings, and a few individual combinations. The goal isn't to spend a long time posing everyone perfectly. Instead, we'll keep things moving, use the location around us, and capture a combination of natural interactions and classic family portraits.
These are particularly great for families with younger children. If your little ones have short attention spans, you know that sometimes 20 minutes is the sweet spot before everyone starts losing interest. A shorter session means less waiting, less posing, and less opportunity for little ones to decide they're simply done with pictures.
They're also perfect if you're looking for updated photographs for holiday cards, gifts for grandparents, framed prints around the house, or simply because it's been far too long since you've had a good family photograph with everyone actually in it.
β¨THE IMPORTANT PART ABOUT MINI SESSIONSβ¨
These are true mini sessions, which means we'll be working on a schedule. Sessions are booked in 30-minute time slots, with approximately 20 minutes of actual photography time.
Because of that, these sessions work best for families who can arrive on time and be ready to go when their alloted time begins. We won't have the extra time available for outfit changes, extensive posing, or getting everyone settled once you arrive.
I also recommend keeping clothing simple and bringing only what you need. The more prepared everyone is when you arrive, the more time we can spend actually photographing your family. I even suggest arriving a few minutes earlier than your start time to get ready and just wait patiently until I finish photographing the family before yours so you are ready to go when your start time begins.
If you are late for your session you will only be given the timeframe that you had booked as I will have additional families to photograph after each session. No refunds for no shows or late comers.
πΎ Please note: These mini sessions are not pet-friendly.
Unfortunately, pets won't be able to participate in these mini sessions. With only approximately 20 minutes of photography time, there simply isn't enough time to effectively work pets into the session while keeping the schedule on track. If you would like photographs with your pets, a regular family session would be a much better option and Iβm happy to set that up for you.
π¦οΈ Weather Policy:
These are outdoor fall sessions, so please plan accordingly and be prepared for typical Colorado fall weather.
If we have light rain, we will still plan to photograph as scheduled. Please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if needed. Sometimes a little bit of weather can even make for beautiful, unique photographs!
If weather conditions make the session impossible, I will work with everyone booked that day to find an alternate date. Refunds will only be provided if weather prevents the session from taking place and we are unable to find a reschedule date that works for everyone.
π BOOKING
A signed contract and full payment are required to reserve your spot. Your session is not considered booked until both have been completed. You will have 24 hours to do both once the contract has been sent. If you do not sign the contract or pay your deposit within 24 hours we have the right to cancel your booking and make it available for someone else that may need it.
With only 8 sessions available at each location, these spots will sell out so if youβre interested book today!
