As of 2009 we have been in business for an entire decade! It is amazing to see where we began and how far we have come! Thank you to everyone who helped to get us started and continues to use us for all their photography and video needs!

Jamie Striplin grew up with a mother who still owns and operates a photography studio in the Black Hills of South Dakota called Frontier Photo. So it is safe to say photography is in her blood! She began assisting her mother at the age of 10 yrs. old and taking photos in the studio at age 14. Upon completing high school her desire to attend photography school at the prestigious Art Institute was one of the reasons she ended up in the beautiful state of Colorado. She started her business only a year after completing college because after assisting many different photographers in the area she saw the need for a type of photographer who had more of a creative photo-journalistic approach to covering weddings and not to mention a photographer who actually enjoyed photographing weddings! By combining her studio lighting and classical portrait techniques with fun, candid, storytelling shots she believes she is giving her clients a more rounded coverage of their wedding and other special events in their lives. Her husband, Michael added the element of high-end videography to the services they offer just one year into the fledgling business making Crystaline Photography & Multimedia one of the first companies in the Denver metro area to start offering package deals for booking photo and video services together. Jamie keeps herself busy by not only photographing a wedding almost every weekend during the peak months, but also by doing family portrait sessions, high school senior photos and more!

Recently, Jamie was asked if Mike and her met each other at a wedding and she had to say, "No... We were one of those couples who took the long way around to getting married. We are actually high school sweethearts who had created a wonderful life and business together before getting married, since we were in the industry we had to wait and save up to do our fabulous wedding just the way we envisioned it! So we finally too took the plunge in 2006 and now we also have complete empathy for any couple going through the process!" Please do not hesitate to ask us for hints or vendor suggestions... anything we can do to make the planning process a little easier for our clients is our pleasure.

We also purchased a DJ company called Digital DJ, LLC in 2007 and now our main goal is to make sure you and your guests are completely entertained and your memories last a lifetime through storytelling photography and video!
